We are currently looking for a Qualified First Aider to carry out the first aid commitment at our representative matches, this would cover pre match strapping etc and the match itself.
This is a voluntary position.
If you feel you can spare the time please contact our team manager Mr Brian Thomas or the District Secretary Mr Fred Lewis

Our huge thanks to the committee of Vardre RFC for allowing us to use their facilities for training this season. Being able to have a "home" makes it far easier to co-ordinate the side.

Several of our Under 19s squad were selected to play for the BOR against the Ospreys Under 20s in a trial match at Llandarcy. The BOR were under the cosh for thr first period but brave defence and mistakes kept the Ospreys to just one score and they ended the period 7-0 down. The second period saw the BOR begin to match the biggger Ospreys pack in the contact area and lineout but still under the cosh in the scrum. Despite that they deservedly drew level when Dan Richards (Waunarlwydd) crashed over and Lloyd Thomas (Afan Nedd Converted) 7-7 after the second period. The third period belonged solely to the BOR and they were rewarded with a second try by Dan Richards and a try by Lewis Harry ( Bridgend) both converted by Lloyd to see the BOR run out 21-7 winners.
Congratulations to all the players who played in this excellent win. Swansea players involved were John Davies, Chris Seeley, Dan Richards, Josh John, Nathan Llewellyn.
Several Swansea players were unavailable for the game due to College matches in the afternoon.
The players now await the decisions of the Ospreys Coaching team to see if they have forced their way into contention for the Ospreys Squad for their matches in April
